Why Take Psyllium Husk?

Learn what makes Psyllium Husk such an important component of maintaining a strong digestive system.

I don’t like it

I am a fan of valerian/passionflower (I’ve taken them before), but this stuff made me feel weird the next day. Gave me “the shakes” the next morning when I woke up, when I usually don’t have any anxiety at all. I don’t drink or take any other downers so I know it was this stuff. I feel like it’s the hops. It also did not help me fall asleep any sooner (I felt like it almost gave me a burst of energy around the 20-25 minute mark, I felt it kick in), I feel the hops made my heart race a little and made me feel up like I wanted to watch TV instead of actually sleep, although it did make me hibernate for +9 hours deep sleep + good rest (aside from the shakes the next morning).I was hoping it’d help me fall asleep sooner but it didn’t.

Effective

Been using for years. Helps with relaxing and sleep.

Just ok

Didn't work too well. Went back to using pure valerian root instead.

Great Product

Great product helps you relax and fall asleep with out having to take melatonin highly recommended

If only this came in a softgel

If this came in softgels I might give it 5 stars. I only wanted Valerian root in a softgel. Nothing else with it, just Valerial root.I can take a handful of odd sized pills with no problem. With all the pain meds I take and other medication, I do take a handful of odd sized pills. Give me a capsule and it'll manage to get stuck in my throat. I take the capsules first and get them to go down with the other pills.I've had the worst insomnia I've ever had in my 65 years. It's been over 2 months. I kept thinking if I could get my pain under control my sleep would return.I'm afraid to know how much money I've spend for pain control. I bought a infrared heating back support and similar for my knees. Pain is better (much, much better), but sleep was still a problem.I got this and a generic for Unisom and was deeply disappointed. However, I ordered them on April 11 and it's now the 23rd. I'm happy to say I can get to sleep. There's still a battle going on. I can't sleep at night. Instead I sleep all day. It's a work in progress. But at least there's some progress.
