Healthy Origins - Tocomin SupraBio (Tocotrienols)

Noticeable difference in how I feel when taking this.

This is a far superior Vitamin E supplement then anything else on the market. I would highly recommend you take this supplement for your Vitamin E needs. According to the late Dr. Stephen Sinatra (who has a few books out on cardiovascular disease especially the one on"The Great Cholesterol Myth, Revised and Expanded: Why Lowering Your Cholesterol Won't Prevent Heart Disease--and the Statin Free Plan that Will), talks about a higher gamma supplement. This Vitamin has all 4 in it, alpha, beta, delta and gamma. I wouldn't use anything less. Also in this book, he talks about fish oil - they are not all alike...in that Squid oil is better for your heart than fish and there is no burp of fish taste. He markets the squid under his name which you can get on Amazon as well.

We have liked this, so we bought it again. Note that this is not your standard blah vitamin E, but a blend of several types of vitamin E that you may not be getting from your diet.

I'm not sure I've been taking these long enough to be able to note any significant benefit. I will say that my digestive system seems to like these waaayyyyy better than the liquid capsules I've tried, so that's a good thing. It's my understanding that these biological processes may take some time for the benefits to emerge.

On one side of the label, it says the ingredient name is "EVNol SupraBio" from ExcelVite. Then, on the other side of the label, it says it contains "TocoGaia Ultra."The previous version of this product did indeed contain EVNol SupraBio. This is the form that has been used in numerous human clinical & other scientific studies. It included an emulsifier that enhanced bioavailability by an average of 250% compared to other palm oil tocotrienol products.I don't know what validated studies the TocoGaia Ultra has to support its efficacy claims.Healthy Origins must remove the EVNol SupraBio & ExcelVite names from the label.If you want THE palm oil-derived tocotrienols proven effective in numerous studies, stick with a product containing EVNol SupraBio.
