Description
Astaxanthin is a naturally occurring red pigment in the class of compounds known as carotenoids and is found in high concentrations in algae and salmon. (Where it causes salmon’s well known pink-red color.) Astaxanthin is best known as an extremely potent antioxidant, but using it as a supplement has also been shown to support skin, gut, ocular, and immune health.
Our Astaxanthin product uses the patented AstaReal raws which have had over 70 human clinical studies backing its many benefits. Our Astaxanthin softgels use extra-virgin olive oil as a base allowing for optimal absorption.

Suggested Use
We recommend just taking one Astaxanthin softgel per day for a total dosage of 12 mg. Due to the olive oil base in the softgels it is not necessary to take this product with a meal, but doing so will ensure optimal absorption. While higher doses can be taken safely we don’t recommend exceeding 2 softgels (24 mg) per day.
