Healthy Origins - Berberine Phytosome (Berbevis®)

I am new to Berberine Phytosome so I was glad to find this one by Healthy Origins who have a long history of quality products. Recently I have been expanding my supplements intake and decided to try Berberine Phytosome with good results. I do feel a slight increase in my energy level. In my research of this supplement I was intrigued at the benefits listed including helping maintain a healthy glucose and lipid metabolism and the indications of aiding in weight management. Additionally, there is no aftertaste which is always a plus for any supplement. This is a good value at 1 capsule daily, it's a 4 month supply of a quality product.

The product arrived in a timely manner and it was packaged well. I can’t say much about its efficacy, since I didn’t take it long enough to see any significant results. I ordered it to try out since I had heard it works great to improve metabolism, blood sugar levels, blood pressure etc. I researched a little more and found out it affects hormones.Please, consider berberine impacting hormones, not only blood sugar and cholesterol. Consult with your doctor before taking the supplements.Caution! Don’t take it if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding. The warning is indeed on the packaging, but there’s a sticker on top of it covering it, so someone might not notice it like I did. See the 1st picture attached.

This is easy to swallow- no bad taste or smell. Easy to add to my daily routine. I can't feel anything yet but a lot of literature discusses the benefits of berberine. Contains good ingredients. Would recommend.

I like the high absorption berberine concept of this supplement. The supplement itself is great, but the bottle itself wasn't in great condition. Not sure why that is, and I hope it didn't effect the quality of the supplement. The supplement is easy to tolerate and berberine has many healthy effects. I take it to help with cholesterol. Hoping this helps improve my levels.

When I first saw this, it was a bit confusing. So it's bioavailable, cool. What does that mean? What do these pills do exactly? OMG it's efficacious! It's all a bit clandestine. You have to do some research to understand what berberine is and how it can help various ailments, such as high blood pressure, bad cholesterol, blood sugar levels, everything under the sun. After some time on the internet and a crash course in bioavailability, I was sold. Only been a few weeks, but we'll see how it goes and whether it helps my concerns. I'll report back if it does.
